Graduate Electrical / Mechatronics Engineer

Tasks & Responsibilities
Engineering & Design Support
Assist with electrical, mechanical, and mechatronics design work under supervision.
Prepare drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and basic 3D models using AutoCAD and other CAD tools.
Support engineering calculations and analysis as part of project design packages.
Contribute to technical documentation, compliance checklists, and engineering deliverables.
Project Delivery
Assist with FAT testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks in the workshop.
Help develop work packages for workshop and commissioning teams.
Support project managers and senior engineers to deliver projects safely and on time.Liaise with clients on technical matters as directed.
Technical Development
Gain hands-on experience with automation, instrumentation, mechanical systems, and industrial control equipment.
Participate in engineering reviews, toolbox discussions, and hands-on training activities.
Work collaboratively with E&I technicians, mechanical technicians, and workshop staff.
Team & Culture
Contribute to a positive engineering and safety culture.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow WHS requirements.
Work autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics), or final-year student nearing completion.
Strong technical and mathematical foundations.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving ability.
Desirable (Not mandatory)
Exposure to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, drafting, or 3D modelling tools.
Understanding of basic electrical or mechanical design principles.
Previous engineering internship, project work, or hands-on experience.
Residents from Brisbane northern suburbs or the Moreton Bay Region are preferred due to travel considerations.
