Job Title: Records Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with the appraisal and disposal of legacy records.
The ideal candidate will have experience in information management, preferably in an archive, records management, or library assistant role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Appraise, dispose, and prepare legacy records for transfer to a designated archives facility
* Prepare historic volumes and registers for scanning
* Develop spreadsheets and records description lists of legacy records
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work accurately
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Proficiency in using Excel spreadsheets
