Overview
Randstad Recruitment are looking for a BMS Service Technician to join their client who is a leading electrical and building management systems specialist committed to delivering exceptional service and technical expertise.
Location: Perth MetroPay rate: $50-55/hour + penalties
Responsibilities
* Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine service, preventive maintenance, and inspections. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues with control devices, sensors, actuators, controllers, relays, and wiring.
* System Optimisation: Conduct software updates, calibration adjustments, and system optimisations to improve efficiency and functionality.
* Commissioning: Conduct commissioning activities for newly installed or upgraded systems, including system testing, verification, and optimisation to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Generate commissioning reports and documentation.
* Coordination & Documentation: Coordinate with Service Management and Estimating teams for timely procurement of parts, materials, and scheduling of site visits. Document all service and repair activities accurately using tools like Microsoft
* Client Relations: Interact professionally with clients, facility managers, and stakeholders, providing updates, communicating technical issues, and offering training and support on system operation.
* Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Must Have
* A Grade Electrical Licence
* Current Driving Licence
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Strong computer skills.
* Proven self-management and ability to work autonomously whilst also being a strong team player.
* A dedicated, service-focused, and safety-conscious attitude.
Highly Regarded
* Knowledge of BMS and HVAC systems.
* Niagara and/or other BMS Training.
* Electrical and/or ARC License.
