About The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, culture and guest experience of Wilpena Pound Resort.
You’ll lead the day-to-day operations across accommodation, food and beverage, Activities/tours, maintenance and guest services while ensuring the resort delivers on both quality and commercial outcomes.
This is a hands‑on leadership role — you’ll be visible, present, and setting the tone across the entire property.
About You
You’re a confident operator with strong people leadership skills, a calm head under pressure, and the ability to balance the big picture with day-to-day execution.
You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in hotels, resorts, or tourism operations
* Strong operational understanding across accommodation, F&B & Activities
* Financial confidence (budgets, forecasting, labour control, reporting)
* A practical, hands‑on leadership style that earns respect quickly
* Experience in regional or remote operations (highly regarded)
* A genuine passion for hospitality, tourism and team culture
