Disability Support Worker
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals living with disability to live with dignity, achieve their goals, and participate meaningfully in their communities.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that values flexibility, empowerment, and community impact. They will work closely with participants, understanding their unique needs and delivering person-centred support that is compassionate, respectful, and tailored to each individual's requirements.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Providing personal care and domestic assistance to participants in their own homes or supported accommodation;
o Transporting participants to community activities, appointments, shopping, school, etc., where necessary;
o Supporting participants to participate in community activities and events;
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification;
* Proof of working rights in Australia (e.g., Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or relevant visa);
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) – current and valid;
* Current Police Check (issued within the last 3 years);
* Valid First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR (within 1 year);
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – 'Quality, Safety and You';
