This role is suitable for one person to assist the Caretaker in the maintenance of a small hobby/aquaculture farm and main homestead in the South West of WA, one hour from Perth, residing full time on the property.
Reporting directly to the Caretaker who resides on the property, the successful applicant must be organised, hard-working and be able to work unsupervised.
Duties include:
* Assisting with all livestock (marron, poultry and steers)
* Maintaining gardens and vegetable gardens and general upkeep of the main homestead
* General handyman duties
The role is for an immediate start and salary will be paid commensurate with the applicant's experience. A one bedroom site hut (fully furnished) will be provided.
Selection Criteria:
* Farm experience
* Experience in operating tractors, mowers and other farm machinery equipment
* Experience in a caretaking role of some sort
* Proven gardening knowledge and experience
* Must be able to provide a current police clearance certificate
* Must have the right to work in Australia - temporary visa holders need not apply
