This position will provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care to the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) women of the Goldfields region.
This position will also provide culturally appropriate specialist child health services to ATSI children and their families of the Goldfields Region through conducting scheduled child health screening.

Qualifications
Nursing and/or Midwifery qualifications
High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to relate well to staff and to liaise effectively with key stakeholders
An understanding of the principles of Primary Health Care and the issues affecting ATSI women and families in the perinatal period
Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and a high level of accuracy
Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively determine priorities to ensure deadlines are met
Work effectively as a member of a team in an environment of competing priorities
Ability to undertake travel throughout the Goldfields, including overnight stays (of up to 3 nights in duration) as required
Valid Working with Children Check (WA)
National Criminal History Check Certificate (Police Clearance - valid within 3 months)
Current AHPRA registration
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
