About the role
LUME Building Group is seeking an experienced and skilled residential Site Foreman / Supervisor to join our team for projects based in and around the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads, NSW. As a full-time Site Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within set timelines and budgets.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
* Scheduling to ensure the projects program targets are met
* Monitor and report on project progress, identify and resolve any issues that arise
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates
* Contribute to the overall planning of project activities
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for the construction team
What we're looking for
* Significant experience (5+ years) as a Site Foreman or similar supervisory role in the construction industry
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate construction teams, including subcontractors
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and posses the ability to keep calm during stressful situations
* A friendly and approachable character
* Sound computer literacy
* Experience on projects with suspended concrete slab construction
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
