Agricultural Service Technician Apprentice - Carnamah

Start your career as an Agricultural Service Technician Apprentice and earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology (AUR30420) based at AFGRI Equipment's Carnamah branch.
The apprenticeship is scheduled to officially commence face-to-face training in 2027.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, successful apprentices progress into Service Technician roles within AFGRI Equipment.
Your Role - What You'll Learn and Do
* Work in a professional dealership workshop supporting agricultural and construction machinery
* Assist with servicing, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of modern equipment
* Support reliable machine performance for customers
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and drive systems
* Work across braking, steering, cooling, fuel, and emission systems
* Assist with inspection, disassembly, and rebuild of machinery
* Work with electronic control and monitoring systems
* Assist with integrated hydraulic and electronic systems and diagnostics
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
* Completion of Year 12, preferably at an agricultural college
* Demonstrated enthusiasm for the agricultural industry and machinery
* Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
