We are on the lookout for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Swings & Roundabouts, located in the heart of Margaret River.
About the Role
Based at our vibrant Margaret River venue, this full-time leadership position is integral to the smooth and successful day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will lead from the floor, support and develop the team, and ensure every guest experience reflects our high standards of service and hospitality.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations
* Leading and developing the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service
* Managing service periods with confidence, professionalism and energy
* Assisting with rostering, stock control and inventory management
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance
* Handling customer feedback and resolving issues with professionalism and care
* Driving a positive, high-performing and collaborative team culture
* Supporting administrative and reporting requirements as needed
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with stock control, ordering and cost management
* A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trade periods
