Relocating to our region:

Recruitment bonus:
This role is eligible for an Allied Health recruitment bonus up to $2,500. The bonus will be paid on completion of a successful six-month probationary period and applies to new employees at GV Health only.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Physiotherapy team as a Grade 3 Women's Health Physiotherapist in our outpatient team (permanent, part-time).
The Physiotherapist in this role will hold specialist clinical knowledge in the field of Women's Health / Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. The role will largely be based at the Graham St Campus, but may include other sites such as Primary Care Connect and provides high-quality care to patients across the Goulburn Valley.
You will work closely with the maternity ward, antenatal clinics, midwives and the gynaecology team, and provide treatment and education on continence/pelvic floor management, antenatal and postnatal management.
The service receives referrals for pelvic floor related issues coming from health practitioners, prenatally, and also postnatally / after their hospital stay. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the application of specialised Physiotherapy clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation of treatment and management based on the current evidence, including self-management, communicating and information sharing with other services and health professionals.
In this role you will work closely with the Physiotherapy Manager to help oversee the delivery of this service in outpatients. You will provide support to other physiotherapists, undergraduate students, and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will provide clinical expertise to complex cases, support staff supervision, assist with relevant competency and in-service training in your field of clinical expertise, and assist with departmental and organisation quality projects and/or working groups to enhance the delivery of high-quality services to GV Health patients.
