About Anaesthetist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetist to provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the Anaesthetics Service, in line with best practice standards and College requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver specialist anaesthetic services to emergency patients, inpatients, and outpatients
* Support the development of anaesthetic services, promoting high-quality patient care
* Foster a culture of learning and professional growth, encouraging best practices in anaesthesia
* Develop anaesthesia research initiatives within the department, enhancing clinical expertise
About the Position
The successful candidate will work across various settings, including Preadmission Clinic, General Operating Theatres, Endoscopy Suite, Pain Service, After hours On Call, Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, and Interventional and Diagnostic Cardiac Procedures.

Requirements:
* Holding specialist registration or eligibility for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
* Evidence of Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and/or equivalent specialist recognition
* Demonstrating continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position
