 
        
        The Hire Ground is partnering with an established hospitality group on the Gold Coast. 
We’re seeking a strong and passionate Head Chef to lead the execution of a large kitchen operation on the northern end of the Gold Coast. This is an opportunity to shape a premium casual dining concept in a vibrant, high-volume venue known for its great food, energetic service and strong team culture. 
The Role 
- Lead a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen with consistently high standards 
- Plan, organise and execute service with precision 
- Maintain financial controls and manage kitchen costs effectively 
- Lead the kitchen team from the front while upholding the team culture 
- Work closely with a large, supportive team focused on balance and workplace wellbeing 
About you 
- At least 2 years in a similar senior role 
- Experienced in leading a medium-sized team in high-volume service periods 
- Strong leadership skills with a positive, hands-on attitude 
- Excellent knowledge of OH&S; and kitchen compliance 
- Skilled at training and developing junior staff 
- Confident with kitchen financials and budgets
