Renewable Energy Project Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Renewable Energy Project Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide administrative support to project teams across the renewable energy sector, ensuring seamless project delivery.
1. You will compile and manage site data using GIS, including topographic and cadastral data, site constraints, project layouts, environmental data, property schedule, residence matrix, and stakeholder management plan.
2. You will work closely with project teams to develop layouts throughout the development process, maintaining accurate records and tracking progress.
3. You will support consultation with landowners, negotiation of landowner agreements, legal dealings, and other correspondence as required, utilizing your excellent communication skills.
4. You will engage and manage external consultants to undertake studies throughout the development process, coordinating logistics and timelines.
5. You will support stakeholder consultation processes with local and/or State planning authorities, other regulators, general public, landowners, and other stakeholders, fostering effective relationships.
6. You will assist in producing Development Applications, EPBC referrals, and any other statutory applications required for project development, maintaining precision and attention to detail.
7. You will conduct regular site visits to consult with project stakeholders, assist in on-site studies where required, and escort clients and contractors around sites, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
8. You will provide continued support to projects during pre-construction, construction, and operation as required, adapting to changing project needs.
9. You will maintain knowledge of the planning and permitting processes within the relevant state, keeping current with regulatory changes and developments.
10. You will stay up-to-date with energy policy development, attending industry conferences where relevant or required, and reviewing relevant media articles to inform strategic decision-making.
11. You will contribute to the continual improvement of internal processes, including but not limited to maintenance and currency of development work instructions, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
