About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a high-performing infrastructure team. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of maintenance and repair works across a diverse portfolio including roads, drainage, footpaths, parks, and public amenities.
You will play a key role in supervising crews, coordinating works, and ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys both field-based work and team management.
Duties
* Supervise maintenance crews and coordinate daily works across civil and open space assets
* Plan, control and deliver works to ensure optimal use of labour, plant, and materials
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet contract specifications
* Interpret plans and drawings and ensure compliance with standards and requirements
* Prepare estimates, track costs and report on variances
* Maintain accurate records including timesheets, plant checks, and job data
Skills and Experience
* Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision) or strong demonstrated experience in civil maintenance (roads, drainage, etc.)
* Previous experience supervising crews in a civil or infrastructure environment
* Strong understanding of WHS, environmental, and quality standards
* Ability to read and interpret plans, prepare estimates, and manage project costs
* Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams
* Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence, White Card (Construction Induction), ability to pass a drug
