Financial Audit Graduate Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Auditor (ASO3) in the public sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial compliance and internal controls audits, conducting reviews on issues of importance and interest, and providing high-quality audit services to our clients.
About the Role
The role involves working closely with senior auditors and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these issues. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including financial statement audits, operational audits, and special purpose audits. Your skills and experience will be developed through regular training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Completed degree in accounting or commerce (majoring in accounting)
* Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Others
Our office reports directly to the SA Parliament on the audits of the finances, systems and processes of both state and local government agencies. Our audits identify whether services and activities are effective, efficient and properly accounted for. We also provide recommendations to public sector agencies on future improvements they could make to deliver better outcomes to the South Australian community.
