About the Role:
Are you a reliable and detail-oriented worker with experience in meat processing? Join one of Australia’s top meat processing facilities, where your skills will be valued in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, pack, and label meat products in accordance with food safety and quality standards
- Operate meat processing equipment such as packing machines, meat saws, grinders, and slicers
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, complying with HACCP and WHS regulations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production flow and efficiency
- Monitor inventory of supplies and ensure correct handling of raw and finished goods
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Meat Packer, Process Worker, or in a similar food manufacturing environment
- Ability to work safely with meat processing tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and quality
- Willingness to work in cold room environments and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 25kg)
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends
- Basic knowledge of food handling or HACCP certification (preferred but not essential)
