About The Role
In this role you will oversee the Council's critical compliance of essential safety measures, CCTV and building security. This position also manages several key Council maintenance contracts within the Building Maintenance Team.
This role also includes participating in an after‐hours supervisor roster.
What You'll Deliver
* Provide leadership, support and participation in Council Steering Committees for CCTV, security and building emergency management.
* Manage contracts to ensure Council maintains appropriate compliance for fire evacuation drills, training and servicing of equipment.
* Manage contracts relating to building security, CCTV and building infrastructure safety.
* Ensure Council contracts are delivered in accordance with appropriate contractual agreements, relevant legislation, required customer standards, timeframes and approved budgets, and report on performance.
What You'll Bring
We are seeking someone with the right attitude, management skills and a willingness to learn and impart your expertise to the team.
* Working knowledge of IT‐based systems and software applications associated with building management, security and maintenance.
* Experience in ESM best practice and working knowledge of relevant legislation.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
