Overview
We are looking for an experienced, part-time (3 days per week) Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence. The position offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, with 7.5 hours per day.
Responsibilities
Assist with compliance, policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.
Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff.
Support continuous improvement, gap and risk analysis.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the aged care sector to assist our homes with compliance.
Skills & Experience
AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
Ideally, at least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a quality role
Demonstrated quality, compliance & clinical governance understanding
Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
Excellent understanding of quality assurance & auditing processes
Must be able to easily learn recent systems and technologies
Continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis experience would be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
Be able to coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
