The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Analyst to join our dynamic IT team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for all internal technical support queries, ensuring efficient, secure, and timely resolution of issues that may impact the firm's day-to-day operations.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality support to legal professionals, administrative staff, and back-office teams. Your contribution will play a key role in maintaining productivity across the firm while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality, compliance, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line support for IT-related queries via phone, email, and in-person.
* Log, manage, and resolve service requests through the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution or escalation where required.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
* Offer support for Microsoft 365 productivity suite.
* Deliver support for legal applications, including document management and practice management systems.
* Manage user administration tasks through Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
* Support video conferencing technologies, including Zoom and Teams Rooms, to ensure seamless internal and client meetings.
* Assist with staff onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup and access provisioning.
* Prioritize and resolve time-sensitive issues.
* Maintain user documentation and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
* Adhere to firm protocols on data security, confidentiality, and compliance.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience in a 1st line IT support role, preferably in a professional services or legal environment.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Windows OS, and Active Directory.
* Familiarity with legal software systems (e.g., IManage, BigHand, Aderant, Elite 3E, or equivalent).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of professionalism.
* Understanding of data confidentiality and compliance within a legal setting.
* Ability to manage and prioritize time-sensitive support requests effectively.
