In 2026 we are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic and motivated Trade Assistant to join our workforce, with an opportunity to start and electrical apprenticeship for the right person.
Role Overview:
As an electrical Trade Assistant/Apprentice you will work alongside experienced solar technicians, providing support in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems, battery installations, EV charging as well as general electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the installation and maintenance of solar PV, Battery systems.
* Help with site preparation, including tool and equipment setup.
* Provide logistical support, ensuring that all tools, parts, and materials are available.
* Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of existing solar PV + Battery systems.
* Ensure all installations comply with safety and quality standards.
* Perform general labor duties on-site, including cleaning, organizing, and assisting the technicians.
* Provide customer service and communicate effectively with clients during installations and maintenance tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
* No previous experience required, we are willing to train the right person. Some construction experience would be advantageous.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
* White Card (Construction Induction) and working at heights certification (preferred).
* Driver's licence
