About the role
Billy Chow' is seeking passionate chefs to join their dynamic team in Coolangatta, Queensland. As a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef, you will be an integral part of our busy kitchen, working alongside our accomplished culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
What you'll be doing
* Assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality dishes as directed by the Chef de Partie and Head Chef
* Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment in adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
* Learn new cooking techniques and expand your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and seamless service
* Participate in menu development and provide input on improving kitchen operations
What we're looking for
* Formal culinary training or an apprenticeship in commercial cooking
* A passion for food and a keen interest in developing your cooking skills
* Strong time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* A team-oriented approach and willingness to learn from experienced chefs
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene
