About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Contracts Specialist to support complex procurement projects. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Global Procurement Manager to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
Job Summary
In this critical role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide strategic guidance and contribute to the success of our procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Guidance: Offer expertise and lead by example as a senior team member, providing valuable insights and ensuring seamless collaboration.
* Procurement Strategy Development: Assist in creating innovative solutions to address complex contractual challenges, driving business growth and efficiency.
* Contract Management: Manage high-risk contracts, including sourcing strategy development, tender document preparation, evaluation, and contract formation and management.
* Negotiations and Collaboration: Lead commercial and legal negotiations with suppliers, ensuring successful outcomes and maintaining strong relationships.
* Project Delivery Support: Collaborate closely with project leads, engineers, site-based construction teams, and other project delivery professionals to achieve project goals.
Requirements
* Construction Project Expertise: Possess a solid understanding of construction projects and their complexities.
* Contract Management Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in contract management and category strategy development.
* Risk Management and Negotiation: Showcasing excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and proven experience in leading contract negotiations and managing risks.
