What You'll Be Doing
As part of this dynamic team, you will:
1. Assess & Plan:
* Assess clients' emotional, psychological, developmental, and physical capabilities using clinical observations and standardised tests
* Evaluate clients' functional potential across home, work, school, and leisure settings, recommending environmental modifications to boost independence
2. Deliver Interventions:
* Plan and direct vocational, recreational, remedial, social, and educational programs for individuals and groups
* Provide adaptive equipment like wheelchairs, splints, and assistive tech to help clients overcome functional limitations
3. Collaborate & Advocate:
* Work with health professionals, families, carers, employers, and teachers to create supportive environments
* Provide specialist advice for driver rehabilitation, third-party compensation, and medico-legal representation
4. Track & Report:
* Record clients' progress accurately and maintain documentation that meets legislative and ethical standards
* Participate in team meetings, supervision, and service improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
* Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Passion for helping people achieve their goals
* Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
