Your Day-to-Day
No two days will look the same, but you'll find yourself:
· Sitting down with clients to understand their needs and tailoring advice to suit them
· Negotiating with insurers to get the best outcomes (and making it look easy)
· Guiding clients through renewals and making sure deadlines are met smoothly
· Standing beside clients when they need you most, supporting them through claims
· Spotting new opportunities to add value, grow your portfolio, and drive success
· Claims Support: Act in the client's best interest during claims, ensuring timely and fair outcomes.
· Business Development: Identify opportunities, cross-market services, and contribute to portfolio growth.
What You'll Bring
You're a people-first professional with the skills to back it up:
· Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and claims
· Excellent communication you know how to explain the complex in simple terms
· A knack for building trust and long-term relationships
· Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in getting things done
· Extra credit if you've worked in rural/regional markets or know your way around INSIGHT systems.
· Tier 1 – General Insurance Broking
· Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualification must be held prior to commencement of employment
· 5 years of insurance experience including Commercial Insurance Broking
· A minimum of 3-4 years of commercial insurance broking experience is required
· Understanding of relevant laws and legislation
· A "can do" positive attitude
