We've been exclusively engaged on a highly confidential major infrastructure project in Queensland and are seeking a
Senior Electrical Project Engineer
to step into a technically challenging, high-impact environment.
This is a permanent opportunity on a FIFO roster from Brisbane, joining a tier-one aligned contractor delivering critical energy and infrastructure solutions that matter to regional Queensland and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing
Manage and deliver electrical engineering scope from mobilisation to completion
Oversee design reviews, drawings, specs, and technical problem-solving
Support procurement processes and subcontractor management for electrical packages
Monitor progress, risks, costs, and compliance across safety, quality, and environment
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems
Work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, and stakeholders to keep delivery on track
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
What We're Looking For
Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
7+ years' experience in construction, energy, oil & gas, or major infrastructure projects
Proven track record leading electrical scopes in site-based environments
Strong knowledge of compliance standards, commissioning, and electrical systems delivery
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with project and commercial teams
A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in complex environments
