Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Scope Physiotherapist to join the South Metropolitan Health Service. The successful candidate will function in an alternate model of care, providing expert consultation and independent clinical assessment and triage functions in the Rockingham General Hospital Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert consultation, independent clinical assessment, and triage functions
* Determine appropriate treatment plans, independent of the Emergency Physician's direction
* Act as a clinical musculoskeletal consultant for the medical, nursing, and allied health team
* Deliver triage, assessment, and treatment functions via in-person or Telehealth modalities
Requirements:
* Valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments)
* Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
* Ability to practice in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct and SMHS policies and guidelines
