Preschool Assistant for Visually Impaired Students
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the education and development of young children who are visually impaired. The role requires collaboration with teachers to create inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse needs.
* Supporting the Preschool team in creating inclusive learning spaces
* Assisting with adaptations and tasks related to visual impairment
* Fostering positive relationships with visually impaired students
A Certificate III or IV in Early Childhood Education and Care is essential, along with a commitment to providing high-quality support. This part-time position starts during school terms only.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborating with teachers to develop engaging activities
* Supporting the implementation of inclusive practices
* Providing individualized support to visually impaired students
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine passion for working with young children. A strong understanding of Steiner Education philosophy is also highly desirable.
