With plant optimisation front of mind, we are looking for a Senior Project Metallurgist to take the reins on a diverse range of site-based improvement initiatives.

As a Senior Project Metallurgist, you'll play a crucial role in implementing projects that drive efficiency, reliability, and recovery in one of Australia's most exciting Lithium Operations.
What you'll be doing
Lead the implementation of advanced short-interval control systems
Review and improve the efficiency of installed plant equipment
Establish and maintain a full plant metallurgical model
Optimise reagent selection, grinding media, and SAG liner configuration
Partner closely with operations and processing teams to deliver measurable improvements
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with operational projects in mineral processing plants
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ramp-up environment and work back-to-back in a project delivery team
Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
