Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 36,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 500 team members and manage a contractor workforce of approximately 1600, who provide both specialist and operating and maintenance services on AGIG's gas distribution networks.

About the opportunity
AGIG is excited to announce a new opportunity as Leading Hand - Maintenance Coordinator to join the Facilities Field Team within Transmission Operations. This position will be based in Jandakot office working a nominal Monday to Friday, with some requirements to travel.
Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Superintendent, this role is responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities across Facilities Field and Renewables teams. The Maintenance Coordinator ensures work is efficiently scheduled, resourced, and executed, with a strong focus on safety, operational continuity, and performance excellence.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate and assign work packs and tasks within the 90‑day maintenance schedule, integrating backlog and SIB activities while ensuring availability of skills, materials, and services
* Manage reactive work and customer requests to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency
* Act as the primary interface between the Facilities Field Team, Planning & Operational Performance and Supply Chain
* Develop and maintain executable monthly work plans and clearly communicate priorities to Leading Hands
* Serve as the focal point for external customers during the scheduled coordination phase
* Identify and manage operational and safety risks (including SIMOPS), engaging relevant technical, HSE, engineering or environmental support as required
* Review CMMS (MAXIMO) reporting is detailed, accurate, provided in a timely manner and escalate issues as needed
* Drive continuous improvement of Work Instructions, Job Plans changes in CMMS, Stock Item changes and Management of Change processes.
* Coordinate field travel requirements
* Promote and uphold Zero Harm Principles, Stop Work Authority and HSE policies
About you
* Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling and planning and/or leadership.
* Maintenance experience in the gas industry, preferably within planned and reactive maintenance practices at custody transfer facilities.
* Excellent relationship building, problem solving skills and ability to prioritise work.
* Understand and appreciate internal and external customer needs and expectations.
* Self-motivated and able to motivate and develop others based on their capabilities.
* Project management experience of minor projects within the pipeline operation.
* Able to respond immediately to changing circumstances and demands.
