**What you'll be responsible for**:
- Operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution assets
- Proactive use of SCADA to monitor, operate, and maintain treatment processes, including fault finding, repairs, and data collection.
- Performing field collection and laboratory analysis of water samples.
- Responding to emergencies and participating in after hours on call rotations.
- Excellence in safety, quality, and environmental performance through continuous improvement
**What you'll need to be successful**:
- Commitment to or completion of Certificate III in Water Operations.
- Trade qualification (electrical, mechanical, process, or plumbing) is desirable
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
- A reliable team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
