About the role Exercise independent professional judgement in resolving problems, with more complex clinical decisions and problem solving made with limited professional supervision and guidance.
This will include providing outpatient services in various clinics through MNHHS, providing inpatient services including contribution to 7 day / week and late roster, on-call roster and services to chronic and acute dialysis patients.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Undertake high level Pharmacy duties with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision Provide sound, high level advice and assistance to clinical staff for evidence-based evaluation of new medicine therapies, and to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery Provide clinical practice supervision and clinical education to pharmacy practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the pharmacy service Participate in medication safety initiatives, medicines usage evaluations, collection of key performance indicator data, and other medication management quality improvement activities where appropriate.
