Key Responsibilities:
This role oversees the management of a team of caravan technicians.
The successful candidate will lead by example, ensuring customer satisfaction remains high through effective communication and workflow management.
They will schedule jobs and manage repairs to meet quality and delivery targets.
Workshop Operations:
* Oversee a variety of repairs including insurance work, re-sheeting, 12V installations, accessories, water systems, and cabinetry
* Support staff in diagnosing and resolving technical issues
* Manage sublet work, parts procurement, and supplier relationships
* Maintain clean, organised, and compliant workshops
Requirements:
* Previous experience in caravan, automotive, or mechanical repairs
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Hands-on problem solver with a mechanical mindset
* Confident communicator—able to reassure customers
* Computer-literate and comfortable with workshop systems
* Trade background in auto, mechanical, cabinetry, or electrical fields
* Knowledge of plumbing, 12V systems, or RV accessories
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Welding or fabrication experience
* Exposure to iBody or other job tracking platforms
