Your Next Role
You will play a key role in the variety of operations at our Shepparton site. From building high-quality timber pallets to completing local delivery runs in Shepparton and the Melbourne region, you'll be involved in every step, from receiving timber from suppliers, assembling the product to delivering orders to our customers.
This role offers diversity, hands-on work, and the opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive, people-focused environment.
* Build and assemble new timber pallets using tools including saws, nail guns and hammers.
* Operate machinery and equipment involved in the pallet production process, including stacking timber, feeding timber into the bandsaw, and operating a forklift as needed.
* Pallet Repairs; timber fixing, plastic welding, and refurbishing worn or damaged pallets.
* Complete local delivery runs, loading and unloading pallets to our customers, returning to site every day. No overnight stays.
* Maintain accuracy and consistency across all pallet builds, each unit must meet our high standards.
* Contribute to a team environment where everyone works towards daily production targets.
* All our people go home in the same condition they came to work, safety before production.
* Consistent hours, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime available, particularly during citrus season.
About you
* Experience using hand tools and machinery, such as nail guns, saws, hammers, or bandsaws, in a production or timber environment is highly regarded but not essential.
* Comfortable operating forklifts and machinery; Forklift (LF) licence and Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is required
* The ability to stack and feed timber and operate a forklift when required.
* A safety-first mindset, you follow procedures carefully and look out for your teammates, following all road and site safety procedures while loading and unloading pallets.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring every pallet meets our standards.
* A reliable and positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
* Enjoys staying busy, tackling hands-on tasks, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Takes pride in on-site customer interactions, making every delivery a great experience.
