The ACT Justice and Community Safety Directorate is seeking applications for the role of Cabinet Administration Officer, Governance and Business Improvement, commencing from 16 March 2026 to 21 August 2026 inclusive. This role is responsible for providing support to the Cabinet Liaison Officer to manage a proactive Cabinet agenda and act as a central point of contact between the Directorate, the Cabinet Office, Minister’s Offices and agencies. The Cabinet Administration Officer will undertake cabinet and ministerial processes, liaising with various stakeholders across ACT Government, whilst maintain a high level of confidentiality. The role is required to respond quickly to business needs and adhere to tight timeframes. Eligibility/Other requirements: An understanding of ACT Government Cabinet, Assembly, ministerial and machinery of government processes is desirable. Competent in administrative functions using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and workflow systems.
