Gordonvale Family Medical Centre is an established family owned general practice servicing Gordonvale and surrounds. We're an easy drive from Cairns and surrounding suburbs against the flow of traffic. We have a hardworking team of GPs, nurses and excellent administration support. We can offer the applicant a casual role with an experienced team that are dedicated to supporting the health needs of our community.
About the Role
This is initially a casual position as a medical receptionist. Mostly for evenings and Saturday afternoon, see below.
Duties include:
* All aspects of medical reception work including providing exceptional customer service and care to patients.
* Working with a passionate clinical and management team that is always improving the way healthcare is delivered
* Please note the hours will mostly be 5pm - 8pm Mon - Fri and Saturday afternoons. You will need to be available at these times to apply and be successful.
About You
Unflappable when things get busy (and it is often busy!)
Applicants are to be warm, caring and empathetic with patients, fellow nurses and administration
We desire an individual who can work independently and as a team member
Consistent demonstration of a professional attitude
Prior experience working in a general practice is desirable
Enthusiastic about their profession and consistently brings positivity to work
