Job Description:
How Will I Help?
As a Lead Engineer within our Digital Engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining technical solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers and employees. You'll be at the forefront of our online presence, driving innovation and excellence in digital banking. Your responsibilities will include:
4. Providing expert technical guidance to GroupTech and Application Development Services teams.
5. Hands-on coding when required, ensuring the robustness and scalability of our solutions.
6. Taking ownership of various aspects of applications, bing the go-to person for each solution.
7. Passionately tackling challenges related to scale, performance, and security.
8. Collaborating with stakeholders across the business and technical spectrum.
9. Advocating for agile methodologies and applying Lean and Design Thinking principles.
10. Contributing to the continuous improvement of applications throughout their lifecycle.
What Do I Need?
Technical and Industry Expertise:
11. Strong Core Java skills with a minimum of 8 years hands-on experience.
12. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot and Hibernate.
13. Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation, Microservices, Swagger, and design patterns.
14. Proficiency in Scrum/Agile development methodologies and continuous delivery.
15. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication and presentation skills.
16. Bachelor's degree inputer Science,puter Engineering, or equivalent experience.
17. Ability to mentor junior/senior developers and review code for quality andpliance.
18. Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Other Desirable Skills:
19. Experience with Microservices architecture, enterprise architecture, and contemporary IT strategies.
20. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
21. Passion for DevOps principles and practices, including TDD, BDD, and integration with business systems.
22. Exposure to the Digital domain and agile team environments.
23. Proficiency in instrumenting systems with monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
