Based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs and boasting a large facility with modern machinery and a skilled team committed to excellence, they specialise in designing and fabricating premium aluminium windows, doors and façade systems for iconic buildings that shape the skylines of tomorrow.
Your new role
This is a hands-on, factory-based role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment, and takes pride in precision craftsmanship.
Working on large-scale commercial projects, you'll be fabricating and assembling aluminium window and door systems to precise specifications, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, custom-built solutions.
Your day-to-day tasks:
* Fabricate aluminium frames, windows, doors, and curtain wall systems from detailed shop drawings
* Operate saws, CNC routers, punches, and other fabrication machinery
* Assemble frames, sashes, and install hardware (hinges, locks, handles, seals) with a high level of accuracy
* Prepare and fit glazing components and seals
* Conduct quality control checks throughout the fabrication process
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Work collaboratively with production and project teams to meet deadlines
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role:
* Proven experience in aluminium fabrication (commercial experience preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schedules
* Proficiency with hand tools, pneumatic tools, and CNC equipment
* Experience with commercial framing systems (e.g. Capral, Alspec, or similar)
* Understanding of glazing techniques, sealants and hardware installation
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
