Investment Opportunity in Asset and Wealth Management
Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate to join our Private Credit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, executing, and monitoring investments across the full spectrum of credit strategies.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic platform that offers a broad mandate, from direct lending to opportunistic and structured investments.
As an Associate, you will work closely with experienced investment professionals to identify opportunities, conduct due diligence, structure, execute, and monitor investments.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments, as well as communicating and defending investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees.
The Private Credit team is part of Goldman Sachs' Asset and Wealth Management division, which provides investment and advisory services to clients around the world.
We are looking for a strong academic record, preferably with a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Studies, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline from a distinguished academic institution.
Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility and creativity in analyzing various industries and businesses are highly valued, as is the ability to self-direct, analyze, and evaluate, and form independent judgments.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
* Strong academic record with a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Studies, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
* 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or leverage finance and private credit roles
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Flexibility and creativity in analyzing various industries and businesses
