About the role
Our Pathways to Early Learning & Development (PELD) program is seeking an Early Childhood Coordinator superstar to join the team. The PELD programs integrate family support and early childhood education for children aged between 0-7 years. It is designed to improve children's experience of early childhood education by tailoring family support. The program supports the Wide Bay and North Burnett area.
In this exciting role, you will be overseeing the delivery of high-quality early childhood programs and services to support children and families. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and contribute to the growth and development of our community-focused organisation.
This role is part time (school hours) until 30 June 2026, based at Bundaberg. Travel within the Wide Bay and North Burnett area is required, and a company vehicle is available.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood programs and activities
* Liaise with families, schools, and community partners to understand and address the unique needs of the children and families we serve
* Ensure compliance with client and departmental databases
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our early childhood services through data analysis and feedback
* Represent IMPACT Community Services at stakeholder meetings and events
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Demonstrated experience working with children up to age 7
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and community partners
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Commitment to the values and mission of IMPACT Community Services
