The Role
- Ensure the smooth daily operations of a high-quality long day care service as the Nominated Supervisor
- Promote a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for all educators and families within the service
- Oversee and facilitate the curriculum provided within the service and use your sound knowledge and creativity to work towards continuous development and improvement
- Maintain safe and healthy environments for all children and team members
- Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory standards
Role Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education and Care (Or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated experience within a leadership position
- Full working rights in Australia
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established and community-focused service in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West. This not-for-profit centre has a rich history of delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, built on strong values of inclusivity, collaboration, and respect. In this role, you will inspire and mentor a passionate team of educators, foster strong partnerships with families, and ensure the service continues to provide a nurturing environment where children can explore, discover, and thrive. Working alongside a longstanding team (over 10+ years of service) and a supportive management committee you will have the resources to thrive within your role as centre director.
