Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst (12-month Contract)
SkyCity Adelaide is currently seeking an experienced Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst to join our Financial Crime team for a 12-month fixed term arrangement.
About the opportunity
Reporting into the Head of Financial Crime Monitoring and Intelligence, this role is responsible for supporting Financial Crime investigations undertaken by SkyCity Adelaide's Financial Crime Intelligence function.
This role contributes to identifying, analysing, and communicating emerging Financial Crime risks, typologies and threats, and also supports the Manager of Financial Crime Intelligence & Liaison with law enforcement engagements, complex and sensitive investigations.
Stakeholder engagement to support uplift of intelligence capability and to ensure insights are effectively integrated into operational practice is also a key aspect of this role, along with driving data-led insights, acting as an internal subject matter expert on Financial Crime risks and typologies.
About you
You will bring a minimum of 2 years Financial Crime intelligence (or similar) within the gaming or financial services industries, or with law enforcement.
You will have a competent understanding of ML/TF typologies, red flags, emerging threats and regulatory frameworks and possess experience liaising with law enforcement and regulatory bodies in relation to Financial Crime intelligence matters.
Along with relevant intelligence skills and intelligence tradecraft experience, you will be a natural problem solver and highly analytical with a focus on data-driven insights.
Your written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to articulate complex Financial Crime risks to senior management and stakeholders will also be a strength of yours.
