**Lead P-6 Academic Team Member**
We seek an accomplished leader to supervise and support teachers and educational assistants in Years P-6. As part of a passionate team at our college, you will ensure high standards of teaching, support, and differentiation are achieved.
The successful candidate will have experience in pastoral care and student management in independent schools and special schools. They will possess a sound understanding of working with students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate curriculum and teaching plans for Years P-6.
* Provide behaviour management support for students on the Autism Spectrum.
* Support teachers and educational assistants in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
* Work collaboratively with the head of college and other staff members to achieve academic excellence and well-being outcomes.
* Perform duties as child protection officer and oversee issues concerning student welfare.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in pastoral care and student management.
* Strong understanding of Christian education philosophy and its implementation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to remain calm in demanding situations and de-escalate incidents.
* Capacity to lead and delegate development of pastoral programs.
