Join Village Optics, an independent family run practice that proudly offers unique personalised eyecare across all ages, ensuring that solutions are tailor-made for patients' specific needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person to join the practice as a **Retail **/** **Optical Assistant. **Hours cover 3 days per week - Saturdays, and 2 weekdays.
**As a Retail /Optical Assistant you will**:
- Have a great rapport with our customers of all ages
- Efficiently perform reception and general administration tasks
- Learn the art of fitting and repairing spectacles and sunglasses
- Assist customers with selecting the perfect frame, sunglasses and lenses for their needs
- Assist in stock control, merchandising and presentation of the practice
- Completion of practice communications to patients including booking confirmations, recalls and scheduling, and social media updates and posts
**You will need to demonstrate**:
- Experience in a team-based, customer service environment (experience in medical or allied health environment would be highly regarded)
- Telephone skills and manner must be of high standard
- Attention to detail, initiative, and an ability to prioritise and solve problems
- Social media proficiency will be highly regarded (posting /post scheduling)
- A charismatic flair for fashion and personal presentation
- A cheerful and consistent level of dedication to match our company values
- A willingness to learn new skills.
