Victorian Business Development Manager Role

The Victorian Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business and driving revenue growth for Quantaco, a leading Australian data-driven technology company delivering hospitality-specific insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pursue New Opportunities: Identify and engage with potential clients across pubs, clubs, and restaurants, showcasing the value of our solutions and closing deals.
2. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and maintain strategic sales plans designed to exceed targets, ensuring successful quota achievement.
3. Client Understanding: Conduct technology demonstrations and discovery sessions to comprehend client needs and preferences.
4. Cycle Management: Maintain accurate records of the sales cycle in our CRM system, enabling effective relationship development.
5. Industry Engagement: Attend expos and industry events to meet prospects and establish valuable connections.
6. Travel Requirements: Be prepared for travel to meet clients and attend industry events, utilizing the provided car allowance.

About You:

* Experience: At least 3+ years of successful new business development experience in a SaaS environment.
* Proven Track Record: Successful quota achievement preferably as a SaaS sales executive or Business Development Manager.
* Network: A current network of relationships within the hospitality industry, facilitating seamless prospect engagement.
* Sales Skills: Strong understanding of managing complex B2B sales cycles, ensuring effective negotiation and deal closure.
* Customer-Facing Skills: Strong presentation skills, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
* Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating high-value commercial deals, leveraging technical proficiency and sales acumen.
* Relationship Building: Ability to build strong personal relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and loyalty.
* Technical Proficiency: High degree of proficiency with technology, allowing for efficient sales cycle management.
* Communication Skills: Superior verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, ensuring seamless stakeholder interaction.
* Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
