Job description:
Pitch Roofing Pty Ltd is a reputable roofing company based in Glebe, NSW, specialising in roof installation, repairs, and maintenance. We are seeking an experienced Roof Tiler to join our team on a full-time basis.
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Measuring and preparing roof surfaces for tiling
* Laying, cutting, and fitting tiles in accordance with specifications
* Securing tiles and ensuring proper weatherproofing
* Replacing damaged tiles and carrying out roof repairs
* Working safely at heights using scaffolding and safety systems
* Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant building and safety standards
* Assisting with the training and supervision of apprentices when required
Skills and requirements:
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Roof Tiler
* Relevant qualifications or completion of a roof tiling apprenticeship (preferred) but not necessary.
* Ability to work at heights and outdoors
* Strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Physical fitness and strong awareness of workplace health and safety
