Key Responsibilities
Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepanciesManage accounts payable tasks including supplier statements, missing invoices, and credit applicationsSupport month-end activities such as profit and loss and balance sheet reviews, journals, cost coding accuracy, and finance reportingMaintain banking processes including account setups, payment approvals, and reconciliationsReconcile customer accounts, support collections, and manage bank guaranteesPrepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports providing business-wide financial visibilityMonitor operational financials, forecast performance, and track budget versus actualsSupport payroll processes, including timesheet verification, superannuation, allowances, and leave reconciliationsManage statutory and insurance obligations including wage declarations, injury claims, and insurance policies
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent practical experience in a project financial environmentStrong background in project controlling, financial reporting, month-end closing, and cash forecastingSolid understanding of accounts payable/receivable workflows, purchase order/invoice lifecycle, and bank reconciliationsExcellent analytical skills with strong accuracy and attention to detailConfident communicator, able to collaborate across departments and proactively resolve financial discrepanciesWillingness to travel to support projects and operations across sitesExperience with ApprovalMax, Xero, Connecteam, and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; Power Query advantageous)French language skills are highly regarded.
