About The Position
Our Herons Creek site, located in the highly desirable mid-north coast region of NSW, boasts a welcoming and social team. We are seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Manager to join us on a Permanent Full-time basis.
The site at Herons Creek includes both a Saw Mill and Dry Mill. You will report to our Site Manager and be responsible for developing, organizing, and delivering the maintenance and reliability strategy across the site.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position involving key areas such as safety, quality, cost, and delivery to meet target expectations for maintenance and engineering functions.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, including preventative and predictive maintenance, and managing the CMMS (MEX Maintenance Software).
* Conducting ongoing condition monitoring activities.
* Ensuring all team members have the necessary skills and training to resolve hazards, problems, and operational issues effectively.
* Monitoring the effectiveness of controls and implementing actions to eliminate or reduce risks.
* Developing the maintenance team's capabilities through training and development.
To be successful in this role you will have
* Significant experience in a similar maintenance role.
* Experience with MEX Maintenance Software is highly advantageous.
* Experience working within a large manufacturing, production, or processing environment.
* A Trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field is desirable.
* Knowledge of the timber industry is preferred.
