We have an exciting opportunity for a GP within our vibrant and friendly University Health Service located on The University of Queensland Gatton Campus. At UQ Gatton Medical Centre the role provides a varied service to a primarily student-based demographic.
Campus life
UQ Gatton Medical Centre is situated on The University of Queensland's stunning heritage-listed Gatton campus. On this sprawling campus, which dates back to 1897, you'll find teaching and research facilities in agricultural, environmental and veterinary sciences. The UQ Gatton campus is also home to a community fruit and vegetable garden, lakes, heritage buildings, a museum, and more. It also has a working farm, with more than 1000 hectares of dairy, crop and grazing units, as well as post-harvest facilities and greenhouses.

Whether it's equipping students for safe, international adventures with comprehensive travel consults; preparing researchers for ground-breaking fieldwork with vaccinations; or providing mental health support to those navigating the pressures of academia far from home, our GPs provide an essential service.
Find The Balance
We are seeking a GP who can work 1-2 days per week, and we offer flexibility enabling autonomy without being locked into a typical GP contract. The clinic does not operate weekends, evenings or public holidays, and the seasonal nature of campus life means our GPs experience a balance in demand. Our team take advantage of this elasticity to make space for family commitments, school holiday leave, or professional development.

Our GPs are supported by reception, as well as a Practice Manager and an exceptional Medical Director who are both primarily located at the UQ St Lucia campus, but attend onsite at the Gatton campus as well.
