Geovert is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our New Zealand team. This is a permanent opportunity suited to someone hands-on, reliable, and confident working both in the workshop and out in the field. About the Role This position is primarily yard-based between our Auckland and Wellington locations, with travel required as needed. You’ll support the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a range of plant and equipment, with occasional field work and breakdown call-outs. Key Responsibilities Maintenance and repair of plant and equipment Fault finding across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Workshop-based servicing and field support Responding to breakdowns when required Supporting general workshop operations About You Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar Solid understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics Basic fabrication skills (welding experience advantageous) Electrical fault-finding capability Ability to work independently both in the workshop and on-site Flexible and willing to travel/work away as required Desirable Class 2 Driver Licence or higher F, W, T, R endorsements Experience operating or maintaining telehandlers Join Geovert and Make the Impossible Possible!
